Cloudy, thundery weather to prevail on Wednesday, October 10 - NiMet

NiMet has predicted cloudy weather conditions over the central states of Nigeria

- It predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 28 degrees celsius to 34 degrees celsius and 17 degrees celsius to 24 degrees celsius

- The agency also predicted that the Southern states would experience cloudy morning

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather conditions over the central states of the country on Wednesday morning.

NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office on Tuesday in Abuja predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 28 degrees celsius to 34 degrees celsius and 17 degrees celsius to 24 degrees celsius, respectively.

According to NiMet, Northern states will experience partly cloudy condition over Yelwa, Gusau, Zaria, Kaduna and Sokoto with hazy conditions over Borno, Jigawa and Yobe and sunny conditions over the rest of the region in the morning.

Later in the day, the region is expected to be in sunny condition with day and night temperatures in the range of 34 degrees Celsius to 39 degrees celsius and 21 degrees celsius to 23 degrees celsius, respectively.

“Sunny conditions are expected over the northern cities with prospects of thunderstorms and rains over the central cities and southern part of the country within the next 24 hours,’’ the agency added.
