Kendrick Lamar Has Sold Over 1 Million Copies Of “DAMN.” In The USA

Kendrick Lamar cannot be stopped. The TDE rapper has already earned double platinum certification for his acclaimed DAMN. album and now it’s sold over one million copies in just the United States.

Billboard reports that Lamar moved 4000 units of his project in the week ending March 29th, which has pushed its sales to 1.002 million in America. This is his third LP to reach such an impressive benchmark following To Pimp A Butterfly and good kid, m.A.A.d. city which have sold 1.05 and 1.71 million American units respectively.
Kendrick dropped a collector’s edition of DAMN. back in December and is currently getting ready for a busy Summer season including TDE’s The Championship Tour beginning next month.
DAMN. has been holding strong in the top 20 on Billboard’s charts since it dropped in April of last year and is currently sitting at number 13. Kendrick also had a major with his involvement in the Black Panther soundtrack and recently gave Rich The Kid a hand on his The World Is Yours cut “New Freezer.”
